Hello! I'm a teacher living in Portland. I am on a regular school-year calendar and home on the weekends. My partner works from home full-time and is a fellow dog lover (and really, a dog whisperer). We love to get outdoors for hiking, yoga, swimming, camping, and trips to the park. My experience includes growing up with large dogs with unique personalities. I was a dog/house-sitter in Seattle throughout college for an Irish setter and continue to dog-sit/walk in Portland for friends including a couple of pugs, a standard poodle, a pitbull, and a boxer. Now we have a super friendly and loving labradoodle who loves every dog he meets.

Frankie had a lovely stay! He had lots of fun playing with Sonny and had some fun adventures with Hayley and her husband too! We felt very comfortable leaving him with them and they sent us lots of pics of Frankie which was great! ☺️ Definitely recommend a stay with these lovely beings ?
Hayley was a life saver! We had our sitter cancel last minute, and she stepped up to take care of our pup for us last minute. Not only that, but our pup had the best time. Hayley was absolutely terrific with our high-energy girl Sasha, a 11-month old German Shepherd. She house-sat for us for a week, and we felt 110% confident with the situation - she kept Sasha exercised with a fun variety of experiences and helped keep our large yard alive during a dry week. Hayley communicated with us every day, sending updates and photos of Sasha's adventures. We were lucky to have found Hayley and whole-heartedly recommend her!

We are boarding only. We have a fenced in, spacious, backyard for the dog to run around and play. Dog must be able to walk down the deck stairs to access the backyard.

Please confirm that your dog is dog and people friendly - must get along with our dog Sonny. Sonny loves all dogs and has good social skills with no food/toy aggression.
A typical day
We love to walk around our neighborhood or to local parks like Laurelhurst, Mt. Tabor and sometimes Thousand Acres Dog Park if it is a good fit. We also love to take the dogs to coffee and relax at home. When your dog stays with us, they get LOTS of love and attention.

Sept-June- We're mostly available on the weekends for boarding. June-August- I’m available all days. Your dog would get plenty of play time with Sonny, our dog and lots of love cuddles and relaxation.
