Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was born, but have really taken up the responsibility behind caring for animals as a teen pet-sitter. Over a decade later, I've cared for dogs of all ages, kittens, cats, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, chickens, and lizards. I've administered oral medications to my picky-eating chihuahua mix who has a talent of spitting out only the pill and eating the yummy treat around it. I'll be happy to learn how to administer any medication your pet requires while you're away. Additionally, I've managed to teach my dogs to sit, shake, and lay down. If you're in the middle of training your pup, please let me know! I'd love to practice your pup's new skills!

Hayley stayed with our yellow lab while we were out of town for 4 days and did a wonderful job! Our dog was relaxed and happy when we got home which told us a lot about how things went. He was exercised daily, played with, fed with all our special requests (!) and gots lots of love. He was stealing socks out of her suitcase which told us he was having fun with her! Hayley was great! It was clear she cares about animals. She asked all the right questions and offered comfort to us. She took great care of my aging Lab with separation anxieties. Hayley will be the one I call to care my dog in the future.

Before I take care of your animal, please let me know of your pet's health requirements and activity level. I have experience providing oral medications, but any others I will need a run-through of the administration and dosage of your pet's medicine. Additionally, if your pet has allergies, please let me know prior to meeting so I can avoid any irritants. I know my pets have meant the world to me, and I want to make sure I can keep your pets healthy and happy. If your dog is older, unable to walk far distances, or unable to walk up stairs or steep hills, please let me know. I will tailor our time together to suit your dog's needs.
A typical day
I can walk your dogs in your neighborhood, or drive them to a local neighborhood bike path.

Availability
I'm a full-time law student, so I spend most of my time studying. Luckily, I can study anywhere! My schedule during the week varies, but I typically am free for lunchtime drop-ins. I am only available for dog walking on weekends.
