Pet CPR and first aid certified

Pet care experience

I’ve grown up all around dogs starting with 2 pomeranians and then a golden lab, after my poms passed a beautiful german shepherd joined our family and recently we have brought home a border collie! I also have experience as a dog handler at a local doggy daycare boarding, grooming, and hiking facility . I love animals and they love me! Due to my job as a Team Lead, I have a lot of experience with dogs and caring for their wellbeing.

Hayley has got to be the best pet sitter I’ve ever worked with. She was very in tune with Angel’s needs, playful, and communicative throughout pet sitting my girl. I will definitely be reaching out to her again and would refer her to any/everyone in my dog friend community. Thank you, Hayley!

We left our dog and cat for four days and when we came back, they were both happy and healthy. Hayley did a great job house sitting for us! She communicated with us often and sent us pictures of our pets during her stay. And she followed our cat’s medication instruction perfectly. We definitely will hire Hayley again for for housesitting and dog walking.

Safety, trust & environment

In a clients home it would depend on the dog, if its an active dog we might go for a walk or up to a hiking area play around and maybe practice some training. If its a lazy pup maybe a short walk and some couch snuggles. While in the house the dog will be under constant supervision or will be kept occupied with a toy, lick mat, or some sort of enrichment activity.

Information Hayley M. would like to know about your pet

Any allergies, medication or medical problems i should be aware of, dogs temperment, how do they do with other dogs, cats, other people? do they have any sort of behavioral problems before? favorite way to play? I would love to know your dog’s personality. Do they like to be held? Do we know any tricks? How are they on leash, do they pull? when they see other dogs outside how will they react? how do they do off leash on hikes? The more I know about your dog the better I can tend and care for them :).

A typical day

I love taking dogs on long walks to places where they have yet to explore, wether it’s new neighborhoods, a new hiking area or even a new park. I also like to set up snuff mats or kongs, hide and seek toys or interactive items with treats where they have to figure out how they have to get the treats out (kong tobbler or a ball that you can put treats in or a treat puzzle)

I walk my 3 dogs daily, my old man (the lab yellow lab you’ll see in my pictures) gets his own walk around the neighborhood for either a half hour or an hour depending on how he is feeling that day then i go home and either take my border collie and german shepherd on a long walk, somewhere enclosed where i can throw the ball and chase them around, or we go on a off leash hike and throw the ball there!
