Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and was often called upon by neighbors for pet sitting needs. Since then I’ve had my own animals and I am very comfortable with all types of critters. I worked with a certified dog trainer for my dog and gained plenty of animal communication skills from him. I also own a cat and a snake! Walking dogs fits perfectly into my flexible schedule as an illustrator.

Hayley is amazing!! If you are looking for a trusting, caring & responsible sitter/walker-look no further! We hired Hayley to drop-in & walk our anxious little guy while we were away at work. Our dog, Carbon, has a lot of anxiety & difficulty trusting new people. Hayley took so much time getting to know Carbon. Hayley was so patient with Carbon & was attuned to his cues. We are so glad we found Hayley. We have noticed an improvement with Carbon's anxiety and we have Hayley to thank for that!
Hayley was so great with our cats! Super responsive and sent lots of pictures while we were away. Highly recommend!!

Please let me know what kind of leash manners your dog has, I can work with all dogs but it will set us all up for success if I’m in the right headspace. I would also like to know if your dog experiences leash aggression or has any fears!
A typical day
I like walks to be a mix between structured and relaxed, so they get both physical exercise and mental work. My favorite walking places are on trails if possible!

As an artist working from home, I have plenty of flexible time to spend with your animal! I am relatively new to the illustration world, so this would be a very fulfilling side job for me while taking classes and freelancing.
