I’ve taken care of pets (dogs and cats) of friends and family for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always had dogs or cats that I helped care for and as an adult, I have a golden retriever, Denver, who I’ve cared for since he was 8 weeks old. I have family that often rely on me to take care of their dog while they’re on vacation, and that I now help take care of daily (long walks). While in university, I was a regular dog walker and caretaker for 2 golden retrievers while their owner was at work (2 walks a day, 5 days a week, and occasional weekend stays).
