Off-leash hiking for energetic dogs
Pet care experience
I have experience walking my family’s dogs. As a kid, we walked the dogs during the summer around the port to practice loose-lease and socializing. Now my family has one male dog named Scooter, a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Herding/ Border Collie mix. He's energetic, friendly, and playful. We like to go for long morning walks in the woods off-leash. I find he's much better behaved, more relaxed, and less easily distracted the rest of the day.

Haley was awesome, and Trouble enjoyed himself, as evidenced in all the pictures! She was very communicative and free with pictures. Trouble was "troublesome" as he is a big puppy and was whining at night, but it was his first extended time away from us. We hope she will consider taking care of him again, as we felt no worries with her care while we were on vacation!
Hayley was extremely communicative throughout the whole booking process, and worked with me to schedule some time for her and Vin to meet. She sent pictures and answered any questions I had throughout the stay, and Vin was very happy and sleepy when she came home!
She’s excellent! Very attentive, excellent communication. I will definitely use Hayley’s services again. Beyond satisfied, first time using Rover. I definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone!
Hayley is absolutely great! She is very active with the dogs and super attentive. She senda pictures and updates every day and will make sure the dogs have everything they need. I recommend 1,000% !

Your dog will have a fun, relaxing stay at our house with a 1/2 acre backyard, large park right down the street, & access to fenced in areas. My family's dog Scooter is very friendly and loves to play. Scooter sleeps upstairs, your dog will sleep downstairs with me and have plenty of private space. Your dog will have a nice, quiet place to nap during the day and sleep at night. Crate trained is a plus, although it's not required. I make the crate a safe, positive structured experience with many treats. I will let the dogs out as often as possible, for as long as they want. I don't leave the house for more than 5 hours without letting the dogs out.

A typical day
We love long early morning and afternoon walks, day trips to the park, and hiking trails!! I love going off-leash in the woods, dogs must have perfect recall (e collar, verbal, etc.). We can spend the entire day outside at Mt Tom running around! I'll take your dog for a long walk, let them sniff around the neighborhood. We can go to the park and walk the trails in the woods. Scooter loves to play, chasing everything from squirrels to sticks to leaves blowing in the wind. I can accommodate all types of dog personalities as well. I offer 2 hour, 2.5 hour, and 3 hour options, and a play date with Scooter.

Availability
Open to long term stays! I'm currently working part-time in the evening. I'm available for any services from 6:00am to 10:00pm on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, as well as 6:00am to 3:00pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
