Pet care experience
From working for a local pet care company in college providing daily walks and overnight stays to taking shelter dogs in Germany on long afternoon strolls, I have no shortage of experience around animals of all sizes, shapes and neurosis. I joined Rover when I moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 2016 but took a year off while completing a fellowship in Germany. After moving back to my hometown of Charlotte in 2019, I’m ready to get my small side business of pet-sitting back up and running! I'm comfortable with all breeds and habits, from a 3-month-old french bulldog just being potty-trained to a full-grown, 65-pound border collie mix terror-stricken by strangers. My job is somewhat flexible, allowing me to work from home as needed. I work from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday in uptown Charlotte. I consider myself an easy going and well-practiced caretaker, so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting the precious pups of Charlotte!

I would highly recommend Hayley, as she really loves dogs, and it is readily reflected in her kind, caring, and nurturing personality! She is very responsible, conscientious, and routine oriented in all aspects of her life, which are qualities conducive to an awesome experience for your fur babies! This past fall, we had Hayley stay with our two English Setters for 10 days, and again for a weekend at Christmas. She did an exceptional job of catering to all of their needs. Our oldest setter, age 13, has a variety of medical needs, that required dispensing meds. for which Hayley demonstrated patience and competence. Our overall experience was outstanding!!!
Hayley spent the weekend at my home with our two 7-year old shar pei, Keaton and Addison. It was a complete success. Hayley was responsive to all my communications from the very first inquiry to any and all messages while we were away. She is confident, incredibly nice to work with, enjoys being with animals and was able to be flexible regarding most of our requests. We will be booking her again without any hesitation. It's great to have someone you can trust with your pets!

Hayley worked for my pet care service for 3 years while she was a student at University of NC, Chapel Hill. She would regularly house and pet sit while clients were away. She is a star!!!! Dependability is her middle name. I highly recommend her for any of your pet care needs.
