Full-time dog carer with experience in dog training! My services are bespoke, customised for each dog's individual needs! Depending on your dog's level of comfort with others, they will either be walked individually, or as part of a pack. Energetic dogs will join me for invigorating walks on the heath – rain or shine – while couch potatoes will go for gentle ambles, just to stretch their legs. Along with my own spaniel cross, Lottie, and my regular charge, Rolo, your precious pup will be treated with the same love and care they would if he or she were my own. Located just minutes away from Greenwich Park, I've walked dogs both formally and informally throughout my time in postgraduate education, since 2019. I am excited to be able to offer a select few the opportunity to be cared for around peaceful Blackheath while I finish my studies, and learn even more about what makes dogs tick, so I can apply this knowledge to build a safe, optimally-stimulating, and loving environment for your pet. You'll receive regular pupdates, complete with imagery, so you can see how much fun he or she is having, and any new behaviours you're aiming to train while you're away will be accounted for, and reinforced. I've got a great deal of knowledge about best practice in animal care, with a background in agility and obedience training, and a passion for high-energy dog breeds. I believe strongly that positive reinforcement is the superior method by which we should communicate with our pets. As such, I'm partial to clicker training, and love nothing more than the challenge of teaching a dog something new! We will occasionally host cat-friendly, calm dogs in our home, depending on my own availability, and that of my wonderful, dog-loving partner, Alex.
