Hi there! My name is Hayley. I'm a young professional in the Chicagoland area who has worked in the petsitting and dog-walking business for almost a decade. I grew up with a dog, and I began offering professional petsitting services in my late teens. Throughout college, I cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and aquatic creatures whenever I had a break from schoolwork. I next brought my love of animals to SmartPaws Chicago, where I spent my days as a dog-walker, cat-sitter, and scheduling assistant. Throughout my time there, I worked with dogs struggling with fear-reactivity, socialization issues, and dog aggression. I have a soft spot in my heart for shy dogs-after all, my own dog struggled to get adopted for a long time due to her reticence around men. It is my dream to open my own "dog hotel" one day, and to specialize in helping pets & pet parents dealing with food and housing insecurity, in addition to providing care services to the broader Chicagoland community.
