I am a passionate animal caregiver who has experience working with dogs, cats, exotics, and livestock. After graduating from college with a degree in biology I have worked in veterinary medicine, human healthcare, and as an animal trainer/exerciser. My background in biology and interest in animal behavior allows me to be observant and effective in animal care. It is important to me to make each interaction with an animal a positive one. By combining my love for animals and my experience in customer service I am able to exceed owners expectations of care and maintain trust between myself and the animals. My current dog is the center of my world! My dog is very high drive and needs a lot to do to stay happy and healthy however I am also comfortable watching pets who might be less active. May enjoys dock diving, hiking, camping, running at the beach, going to pet friendly stores, and visiting friends. All pets have different energy levels and enjoy different things, I am able to accommodate all types of dogs and cats.

Please ensure your dog is leash trained and is not dog or people aggressive. Any concerns regarding aggression and/or reactivity will need to be communicated ahead of time to make sure I can take triggers for reactivity into account. Please also communicate any medical concerns or medications I may need to administer (ie. seizure medications, allergies, etc.). I also require your dog be up to date on their rabies vaccine and prefer core vaccinations (DHPP, Lyme, Lepto, and Bordetella) be current as well.
A typical day
I am comfortable walking your dog between 0.5-5 miles within your neighborhood. I can also transport your dog to a park to hike if desired as well! I ask that you be transparent with me and your dogs experience level for hiking to ensure their safety.

Availability
I currently work about 4 days per week. I am available to dog walk in the mornings before work and any time during the day when I am not working. Generally I have more availability for all services on the weekends and Mondays.
