No stars (had to leave 1 to leave a comment). Horrible experience! Haylee came for 30 minutes and left my dog with no one to care for him for 4 days. We were out of state, miles away. She cancelled the booking because she stated that our dog was "mounting her" - First of all, it is super irresponsible to come to a house smelling like other dogs to a dog sitting job. Haylee is a dog groomer. She did not offer to change and come back. Our dog has never had this issue before. Haylee stated that she must have been around a dog in heat. Honestly, she was not prepared to take care of our dog. She didn't take an initiative to fix a situation she created. She is not a mature dog sitter, not dependable, not an independent thinker, and very irresponsible. She ruined our family vacation. stressed out our dog and put another dog sitter in an awkward situation - having to come take over for the booking that she committed to after meeting me, my dog, walking my dog, and having time to ask any questions she might have. We have dog reference and have never, never had an issue with dog sitters in the past. Our dog is 9 - so that's many years of care. Thank goodness for our regular sitter, not ROVER care. Rover could do nothing to help us, and Haylee will probably continue to watch dogs. I'd be careful selecting the best sitter for you.
