Hello, I’m Hayes! I have 2 dogs (German Shepard, Australian Cattle Dog) and 3 cats of my own and absolutely adore them. Both my dogs where rescued and came with their own set of challenges. Due to that I have experience with training a variety of commands as well as helping dogs with fear aggression, overall fear of humans or other dogs, leash reactivity, and more. I know all dogs are different and I’m confident I can adjust to your dogs specific needs and behavior. I have also fostered many dogs before mine, ranging from 8 weeks old to some senior pups. I also have a direct line to a vet at anytime as my mom works for a vet clinic. I am excited to meet your pup and give them the best experience possible!

After our first meet and greets and first overnight stay.....I WILL NOT stop singing Hayes' praises! The level of care, calmness, and communication was second to none and I'm so thankful to Rover for bringing us together. Without a doubt - will LOVE to have Hayes back in our home with our fur baby!
Hayes took excellent care of our cat, Goosey! We loved that Hayes took the time to meet Goose prior to watching him and that Hayes showed genuine care during all interactions with Goose. It takes a lot to feel comfortable enough to allow someone in your home while you are not there and it takes a lot to trust someone to take care of the animal you love so much. Hayes made this easy with a great first impression, continued reliability, and amazing communication the entire time we were gone. Goose can be a little temperamental and Hayes was very mindful of what he was needing at the time, whether that was space, cuddles, or bubbles! We came home to a clean space and a happy cat! We would recommend Hayes to anyone and will definitely hire Hayes the next time we need someone to take care of our Goosey :)
We hired Hayes to watch our puppy for our spring break trip. Hayes was awesome, we received daily photos and updates. We will definitely be hiring Hayes again
We were nervous trying this out since we have never had non family watch our two rescue Great Danes. Both are on their 4th homes, and one has had special training due to nervous/reactive. After the first meet I was at ease that Hayes would be great. Ultimately I didn't even worry about the dogs while I was gone. I hope Hayes never leaves Rover.com!

A typical day
I think each dog is unique so I have a variety of different activities I can try out. If your dog is really active and needs to get out physical energy I love playing tug, ball, or going on long walks/runs with them. If your dog needs more mental stimulation I like to provide food puzzles or Kongs that will require a lot of licking. I also have a button feeder that allows your dog to get both physical and mental energy out when needed. I overall like to see what the dog is interested in and start there.

I am a work from home software engineer with a super flexible schedule. I can accommodate most schedule needs and more than happy to get up early/stay up late if needed.
