Pet care experience
I am a reliable and friendly dog walker with over 5 years of experience walking, training, and house sitting dogs. I also have experience with livestock, small mammals, reptiles, and fish and am willing to provide care for those as well as cats and dogs. I can come in to walk dogs before sunrise and late at night if necessary. I am comfortable handling dogs with anxiety and am willing to work with your dog on simple obedience skills and on-leash training during our walk. I am available to walk your dogs/check in with your pets anytime during the day. I can't wait to get to work with your pets!

Haven has been an animal lover since she could walk. She reads up on animal care and training, she even researched and made her own treats for her hamsters, dogs, bunnies, etc. She has an intuitiveness about dogs, almost like she speaks their language, and they gravitate to her. As a caregiver and walker, she is responsible, dependable, loving, playful, quick to respond, and focused on them. She can tell if a dog or cat is not feeling well, and knows just what to do. She is calm under pressure. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a pet caregiver.

When your pet is in my care, they will receive as much love and attention as if they were my own dogs. When someone trusts me with their pet, it is of utmost importance to me that they know their furry family member is safe with me and will be receiving adequate care. I want pet owners to have peace of mind when I am with their pets, and so my clients can opt to receive daily updates from me with photos of their pet during pet-sitting or dog walks.

I need to know if your dog has any allergies or medical concerns. I am more than happy to work with reactive dogs, but I need to know what their triggers are ahead of time so I can be proactive on walks in keeping them away from any stressors. The same goes for nervous or fearful dogs, I have am more than happy to work with them, but I like to know ahead of time if there is anything in particular they struggle with. Knowing if your dog has certain training you would like me to upkeep while walking or pet sitting is also very helpfull.
A typical day
A typical day with me will depend on what services I have been asked to provide for your pet. On hot summer days, dog walks with me will include lots of shady areas and parks as I prefer to stay off the pavement. During walks I can work on simply on-leash skills if you like or enforce training you already have in place. I want your pets to be as comfortable and safe with me as they possibly can be, and will work with you to ensure that their time with me is as beneficial as possible.
