**About me** Hello! I am an animal-loving woman living in Kingston. I have had a dog and cats my entire life (owned and fostered litters) and have experiencing caring for, and living with, a variety of breeds, both personally and professionally. In both 2017 and 2018, while living in Victoria, BC, I offered dog-sitting in my own home, or in others, for short or long stays. I was fortunate to be trusted with many families’ precious animals, and was thoroughly rewarded by the opportunity to connect with these animals. This past year, I was finally able to adopt my own puppy, an Australian Shepherd. Together, we completed almost 20 straight weeks of obedience classes, improving my knowledge and skill as a trainer. Since adopting Hero, I have been blessed to have had many friends and relatives care for her when needed - now, I would like to again be able to pay their kindness forward, and help other pet parents provide their pets with the best possible care, either while at work or travelling. Unfortunately, accepting other dogs into my current home, which I share with others, is not feasible. This why I now offer house and pet services combined for you and your pups! I also offer dog-walking, and exercise them - I am quite active myself and love to spend as much time as possible outside. My own dog, who is well socialized and friendly to all, will not be present during my work with your pet, unless otherwise indicated. Thank you for considering me to care for your loved one. **About my home/services** As stated, I no longer offer dog-sitting out of my house -- instead I come to you! Your dog can feel safe and comfortable in a familiar setting, your plants can be watered, your surfaces dusted and your home kept safe from opportunistic intruders. **What to expect** Dogs may expect: long and short walks, cuddles, play, etc! I appreciate extra information regarding your pet's typical habits/needs/likes so that I can best serve them! As an ex-runner, I can also schedule in runs for more active dogs! I further have experience sitting for animals with a variety of different eating regimens or dietary needs (kibble, soft food, raw diets, cooked meat and vegetables, etc) -- so you know that with just a little direction, your dog will be well-nourished, regardless of the amount of preparation required! If desired, I can also schedule time for dog socialization, and continue obedience training that you and your dog are currently working on.
