Pet care experience
People have entrusted me with their pet friends for years! I’ve had experience in just walking, drop-ins, and even house sitting for up to two weeks. I’ve also grown up with dogs my whole life, and helping my parents take care of them has always been a joy. I think I do well at reading animals, as in I know when they need a calm approach versus when they want a playful one, and I’m great at both! I’ve had experience with all types of dog personalities; sociable and skittish. My dog at home was a rescue so I know the patience needed for rescue dogs when they meet a stranger. I love being able to make animals feels loved and safe with me. I am excited to hopefully meet your doggy friend!

Haven always takes good care of Piper. I can count on it! When I come back Piper is happy and my house is just as I left it.
Haven has become Piper's regular sitter. She takes good care of Piper and my house, and even stayed a little longer than planned when I ran into heavy traffic coming home.

I love simply to love on dogs. When in their home, I will give them so many hugs and rubs and scratches! They might also get spoiled with their treats (if okay-ed by their owner of course). I will snuggle them all day if I can, and take them for as many walks as they want!

Is your dog a rescue? How do they interact with strangers? Are they friendly to everyone, or does it take them a minute to warm up? How are they with other animals that are strangers to them?
A typical day
A typical day with each pet depends on the dogs personality! I can adapt to any kind. If a pet loves to snuggle on the couch and watch movies, I can do that! Or, if they love to go outside and play all day, I can do that too. I’m adaptable to the pet I’m watching!

Availability
I currently work part time, but my schedule varies. I will most likely need to leave for a few hours when it comes to staying with a pet long hours or overnight. If you have questions about that, feel free to ask! I can give a more detailed work schedule upon request.
