Pet care experience
In addition to being a classic dog lover and having a dog at every stage of my life growing up, I have experience working as an animal rehabilitation specialist at the wildlife hospital at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. I moved to CA in August of 2021 and had to leave behind my dog with my family in New Jersey. I thought taking care of others’ pets would be the best way to honor my dog on the east coast! *rates on rover are higher than my actual rates due to the 25% fee. I usually charge $60/night to board or stay at your house to care for your dog; $30 for a drop in visit and $30 for a walk.

My roommate also has a dog named Riley, She’s a two year old, playful high energy lab mix who’s my companion during the workday when I work from home. I like to play fetch with her in the backyard throughout the day and take her to the dog beach or dog park after work. If I’m boarding a dog at my house, I would like to request a meet and greet/ play date to make sure the two dogs get along. Riley is usually good with other dogs, but i’d like them to meet first!

My roommate has a dog named Riley, She’s a two year old playful sweet dorky lab mix so I have to make sure the two dogs get along first (if boarding at my house).
A typical day
I love to go on long walks myself, so I’d take your dog along with me! I either walk around my neighborhood or walk to the beach or bay to catch the sunset after working from home. Happy to take your dog to their favorite dog park as well.

Availability
I currently work from home and have flexibility during the work day to walk/care for pets as needed. After 5pm I usually like to get out of the house and go on a long walk or watch the sunset. I live in a house with a huge fenced in backyard which is great for playing fetch and running around.
