Hello! I'm Hatty. I'm 30. I love all animals and I've lived my whole life around dogs, cats, horses and various small furries and I am a very confident animal handler. I do live in a flat, but the best bit about boarding with me is that Goodrington Sands, a popular dog-friendly beach, is just outside. Staying with me, your doggo will get to play on the beach, swim in the sea and meet other dogs at least twice a day, if that's what they're into, though there are some quieter spots nearby too if needed. My door pretty much opens into Youngs Park, which is a wonderful green space perfect for regular comfort breaks and a good run around. My home is most suitable for small and medium sized dogs but larger ones may be ok if they're particularly calm, or it's a short stay :) I have experience looking after critters with all kinds of needs, including rescue dogs and cats, and very young or elderly pets. I have been involved with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and have experience of caring for animals requiring regular medication, specific dietary needs or some form of nursing back to health. I particularly love training and building confidence and am very patient with all the animals in my care. Even my pet rats have learned tricks in the past! More recently I've been boarding dogs for friends and gaining experience on Rover and have learned how to help them settle into a new environment and keep their minds off missing home.
