Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life, including 2 of my own during adulthood. Dog behavior and training are personal interests of mine, and I continually research these topics. I also love cats and have spent lots of time around my friends' 3 cats for the last 6 years. I am calm and love spending time with any animals!

I have known Hattie for over a decade and during that entire time she has been a dog owner. Hattie is passionate about animals in general and has a particular interest and loving nature toward dogs. She regularly exercises and and does enrichment activities with her dog, Nutmeg, and is often contacted by friends and family who want to know about dog training tips. She has also dog sat frequently over the last few years and has also watched multiple cats, including my own! Hattie would make an excellent addition to Rover and any dog would be lucky to have her!
Hattie is simply awesome! She is genuine, reliable, fun, and truly a dog lover. She treats our Sheldon as her own and he adores staying with her. She sends updates during the day which give us peace knowing how happy and well taken care of he is. I can’t recommend her enough, she is the best!

A typical day
I love a good old fashioned neighborhood walk, but the Baker Wetlands and Mutt Run are two of my other favorite spots. I like to play fetch, hide and seek, use enrichment toys as well as training to keep a dog active both mentally and physically.0

I have an open schedule over the summer! I am a lecturer at KU, so during the summer months I have a lot of flexibility in when I can care for dogs.
