Harvey has been a GOD SEND! My husband and I are both nurses and work long shifts. Harvey came into our Nitro’s life and doesn’t just walk him, but plays with nitro (frisbee, his tug rope, stuffed), fills his water bowl, gives him love and treats. We get pictures of our little boy’s big smile and that means he’s VERY WELL taken care of. We get updates as he goes and he lets me know when he’s there and leaving. We are very happy!

My dog gets one to two walks daily. He is on bed rest right now as a cancer survivor! Still we go out on sniffing excursions. At the mspca I care for animals from guinea pigs to emus, to horses, to dogs. Each with unique special needs, triggers, joys and sorrows.

Are they sensitive to things like hats? Are they reactionary to moving things like bicycles and other dogs? Are they triggered by squirrels? Are they a "puller?" Any health issues like cancer or diabetes?
A typical day
If I am pet sitting it's important that I spend time on visits playing with and helping to pass the dog's time. Every dog is different. Some love tennis balls (like my dog,) others are food motivated, some thrive on adventure. Excursions to local bike trails, town forrests, or just a prolonged walk in the neighborhood are all in the mix.
