dogs are my peace, they are my goal

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Harry and I have three dogs and a cat in my life. And one you pup angel looking after me. My angel, Rocky, a Pug turned deaf and blind but that never stopped him. I've had the opportunity to tend to his eyes for three years with hydrating eye drops twice a day or as needed (when they get dry). I'd clean out his ears three times a week and enjoy every moment I could with the old pup. I have two pit bulls as well, Utred the red nose Pit bull (4 years old), and Zuko the Terrier Pit mix (3 years old), they grew up together and learned from one another. Both are trained to be great guard dogs but as two knuckle heads - they have a long ways to go. And last but definitely not least, Luna, the 9 year old Australian Kelpie/ Shepherd mix. She's a Reject K-9 unit, but for the best reasons, she loves too much! She's a smart cookie always on the watch and very protective of her home and family, she's also the self appointed Alpha of the group, and rightfully so. She's Loyal to the bone and has a heart of gold when it comes to family, just don't step on her lawn. Oh and two lingering Cats, don't worry though, my best friend works at a pet pharmacy and made sure they have all preventative medications and they've been taken to the vet to get up to date on shots and vaccines 2022 FROM MY EXPERIENCE I handle well with big dogs, even if they pull, I've proven my patience with the pit bulls and will tend to any and all needs. I have experience with dogs at 100+ lbs. and can still handle well with them (see photos for Gibson, the friendly giant). Tending to a blind and deaf Pug teaches you a lot about a dog and his needs, I have the heart for the commitment necessary to keep up with any and all dogs and cats. MY VISION I am on a K-9 focused rout in my life and am committing to K-9 Training / Handling courses, also plan on taking cat/dog CPR courses within the next few months. My mission is to care for any and all dogs, no matter the age or size or temperament. And the Vision grows... -A Little About Me- As a young boy, I've been in love with nature and the idea that I can make a difference. My first experience with a dog was when I met my step father's German Shepherd, Sonya, she must have been at least 10 years old but she seemed so young. I could watch her play and roam for hours and still find myself fascinated by her. As time passed, she too passed and I wanted another dog. My mom had a friend with a Golden Lab mix, Simba, but unfortunately he had a rough upbringing and couldn't bare the presence of a male in the room - not even a small child. We tried our best, but he couldn't handle us. It broke my heart to have to let him go, but since then I had it in my heart to want to make a difference, a day at a time, in the life of a dog. TODAY I have my own American Pit-Bull Terrier, a little terrier pit mix I took in, and many other doggos from friends and family I have taken and cared for confidently under my watch. All of what I've learned over my 17 years with dogs and all of who I am today, is what is fueling my Vision.

Harry is a true animal lover. Seems to form a bond with our puppy in a shorty time and even help introduce her to a couple dogs which will go a long way in her development. Very pleased with the service he has provided so far will continue to use him with our dog!

Harry is a stand up guy who has a genuine love dogs. He has a mild personality that animals respond to and he's willing to go above and beyond the call of dog sitting duty. Would definitely recommend him.

Harry is Very knowledgeable on dog behavior and health, has a genuine heart for dog care and is trustworthy, giving me a sense of peace that my dogs are in good hands and will look forward to their next visit with him. I wouldn’t want anyone else watching my boys because they love having him around and he knows them better than anyone else would when it comes to caring for them!

Safety, trust & environment

Most my clients have their own enclosed yards where I can run and play with their pups. If this isn’t the case for you, I still focus on the pups exercise needs whether it’s a walk around town, chasing some toys at the park, or tug of war in the living room. I always make sure no one can interfere with play time, and that exit and entry points are secure. Safety is my priority.

Information Harry X. would like to know about your pet

I have no preference. I would like to know any and all commands used for your dog so I don't confuse them with my own. I will want to know any and all [things] that frighten your dog i.e.: Thunder, sudden movements, even traumas as I know some dogs are rescues. Will like to know your dogs comfort zone and the limits you set for them. Also if you have a preferred vet you'd want me to take your loved one to, allergies, diets and so on, I’m open. I will ask as I learn more about your favorite companion.

A typical day

I have committed to finding out what makes your dogs tail wag! From fetch to tug of war, to long hikes or short bursts. I have many trails around me for long hikes, and many big fields to release their urge to just RUN. I have a variety of toys to bring along. *I will be cautious of grassy/woodsy areas as its common for ticks to be found in these areas RAIN OR SHINE, I HAVE A GAME PLAN! In my PLAN I have 5 nearest vets in case of an emergency and one go to vet in case of major emergencies.
