My childhood dog, Patches the beagle, was the sweetest dog ever. As a beagle, she wasn't the brightest, but she was highly food-motivated, so training her with consistent positive reinforcement worked out. Eventually. Me and my family cared for her from when she was five to when she was fifteen. Since then I've dog and house-sat for a few different dogs of family friends in the NY and Seattle area. Currently, my partner and I have a mini Aussie who has tons of energy and we take him on lots of walks and runs to get him settled down. He loves playing soccer and catching frisbees. I work on the weekends but am free most of the week starting Monday at noon, so I'm interested in dog walking to earn some extra money while I save up for grad school. I don't have a car, so I'd like to stay pretty close to the Fremont/Wallingford area so that I can bike, walk or run to get around.
