I enjoy enriching a dog’s day any way possible, whether it’s playing tug, going for a walk, or just keeping them company. If you have an older dog with hip dysplasia or mobility issues I’m very capable of assisting them navigate stairs or carrying them if necessary. If your dogs are like mine, they enjoy a routine and aren’t very pleased when that routine is disrupted. This is why, regardless of the service, I make every effort to maintain punctuality and consistency. I’ve been doing drop-ins for friends and neighbors to check on and care for their pets since childhood, and in the last few years I’ve checked on everything from ill-behaved hunting hounds to docile old lapdogs. Whether they need some exercise, medication, or even just a scratch on the head I’m happy to help. For walks I’ll make sure your dog takes a familiar but varied route each time at a pace they find comfortable. While boarding your dog in my home I’ll make sure to treat them as my own while reinforcing any behaviors you’ve taught them such as staying off furniture or not begging. I don’t have a private yard, but a dog park is located in the immediate vicinity so any dog that really needs to run has ample opportunity to burn off some energy.
