Loving and responsible dog owner with big garden
Pet care experience
My partner and I have a loving, friendly (neutered) cocker spaniel who loves to play with and be around all dogs of all shapes and sizes. We would love a second dog for him to play with but the timing isn’t right, so for now are offering dog boarding and sitting services to others. He loves making friends and spending time with his doggy pals. We would look after you doggo as if he was our own. I work flexible hours and am generally at home all week, so will be free for dog sitting and / or boarding in the week but also at the weekends if we have no plans. Our dog gets walked frequently and we have a big garden. We are happy to carry out any kind of pet care that would be needed including bathing and feeding, and I can guarantee your doggo would be very happy (and suitably worn out) after spending a day (or overnight) with our little family. We have a big garden that has high fences and no access other than through the house. We are very aware of the importance of keeping dogs safe from theft or getting lost, and this is always front of mind. We have a security camera at the back of the house as well as a ring doorbell camera, and a doggy camera in the kitchen. We’d never take your dog off the lead unless you wanted us to.
Reviews
Both Harriet and Partner were super friendly which put us at ease straight away. Biggie is only a puppy so we were nervous but these guys were amazing. Biggie was at home straight away and loved playing with Wilbur. I got daily videos/pictures which was great. I would highly recommend Harriet to others and will be using her again. Thank you for looking after Biggie ?
Harriet was absolutely fantastic with my 11 month old puppy. I was so at ease bringing him back the next day - he was bursting to get back in the door. I was updated with lovely pics of him making himself at home and getting lots of cuddles, and I loved that her playful puppy kept him so entertained. I highly recommend Harriet for anyone who wants to instantly feel their dog will be at home and loved with plenty of cuddles and play.

Information Harriet W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know anything you think would be helpful to know about your dog ahead of time. Any likes or dislikes, whether they’re happy to chill or need lots of exercise (I can be flexible). And of course any medical issues or behavioural issues I should be aware of. Please also let me know your preferences on treats and on / off lead walking.
A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast, some cuddles, a game of tug of war or if it’s nice weather a play in the garden. This is then followed by a 30 minute walk in a loop around our local park. We’ll then head home for a nap whilst I do some emails. Mid morning another play in the garden, we’ll also practise tricks and commands with some treats for rewards. At lunch time we’ll head out for an hour either a walk along the canal or to the park. Back home for a well deserved nap and cuddles, or a play if there’s still some energy to be spent! I’ll be guided by your dog and their energy levels and what they need. Whether that’s lots of cuddles and attention, lots of play time inside or in the garden, long walks or shorter more frequent walks.
