Harriet took wonderful care of our dog for the weekend. She is attentive to details and made sure to keep his normal routine. He seemed very comfortable at her house and got along well with her dog. She texted me updates with pictures while we were away, my kids loved seeing the updates.

KiKi enjoyed her stay with Harriet and made herself totally at home. Harriet is so comfortable with small dogs. KiKi immediately warmed & was happy to have a lap to sit on. I plan to use Harriet again and highly recommend her care.

Harriet stayed at my home with my dog for the July 4th holiday. As always, she was reliable and communicative. My girl was sad to see her go. I highly recommend Harriet, she is respectful of my home and a very nice person!!

Your dog is always #1.

I am a cheerful, upbeat person and generate that energy with all my guests. I am a retired Hopkins professional and home full-time. Dog sitting has been a joy; establishing solid relationships with the pet and owner has added value to the love and affection from the dogs. When I run errands, I'm out less than 3 hours or take the dogs with me, if that's something they'd like.
My home is a cozy and ...

What Harriet would like to know about your dog

At our first meeting, I will ask for daily routine for food, walks and treat requirements. Where does the dog like to sleep? Crate trained? Does dog have full run of your house? I prefer a "meet and greet" visit refer to the questionnaire on Rover.com. What is your dog's reaction to meeting new people, pets, storms, history of being away from home. Cuddling, grooming and affection needs. What are the expectations - how many walks? stay overnight? Other tasks?
Will request meeting my dog to assess compatibility.

When Harriet watches your pet

tHere's where we'll take our walks
Walks include about 15-20 minute walk around complex 3-4 times a day and as needed. If the dog signals a need to go out, like going to the door, then a walk is assured. Other options are area dog parks at Lake Roland at Falls Rd and Meadowbrook at Green Spring and Joppa Rd.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Once confirmed house broken, your dog has full run of house. Sleeping options include crate, small bed, in the master bedroom on the floor or in bed with me. Bring his favorite bed, blanket and toys.

Time I'll spend with your dog
Your dog will be part of my everyday routine. I am now retired from Johns Hopkins and have a flexible schedule. I'm usually not away from home any more than 4 hours and would take your dog along with mine for a car ride, weather permitting and if it's something they enjoy.

Time I'll spend with your dog
Dog will be part of daily routine. Walk minimum 3x/ day in home area + play time, customized to each dog's needs. Will review at "meet and greet."

Extra house-sitting services
As needed. Priority is always the dog!
NOTE: Travel service rate may not include mileage costs. Will review at the time of initial meeting.
