I am based in San Francisco and will travel to other cities in California if I can get there by public transportation. I travel by e-bike and public transport. I am an honest, reliable, trustworthy person who takes responsibility seriously. I will take great care with your beloved animals and with your home. I love animals of all kinds and have looked after cats of every temperament, many breeds of dogs as well as chickens, turkeys, goats and fish! I feed, play and groom animals according to your instructions and always love to give pets extra love and attention. Frequently, both dogs and cats who are not friendly right away, or who may be shy or reserved, come right over and cuddle with me. Many pet parents are happily surprised when they see this happen! I am an artist and a real homebody and spend most of everyday in the home with your pets. I'm constantly taking photos and videos and will send the cutest ones to the "parents." I would do the same for you! When you have an overnight sitter, your home is protected by having someone there while you are away and pets get to feel the safety and comfort of being in their own environment, reducing the stresses of transporting them, boarding them with other animals they don't know and other discomforts of being in an unknown environment.

Harriett has cared for our cat (and house) on two occasions now -- the first such sitter we've ever welcomed -- and we couldn't have been happier. She sent photos of Goblin daily, and when we returned he was happy, calm, and healthy. And our house was also immaculate, and our plants alive. She is VERY easy to work and communicate with, which makes travel planning so much easier. Harriett has converted us to the notion of stay in pet/house sitters, and we look forward to working with her in the future.
Harriet did an excellent job caring for my Scottish Fold kitten while I was away on vacation. She sent daily photos and videos and included any notes on things Otter enjoyed doing throughout the day. And when Otter had some digestive issues during the first few days, Harriet was proactive about seeking care for him and shared any and all notes she received from the vet. She even quickly adapted his diet so he could recover. Good news — my kitten did recover within a few days! As I returned home, Harriet graciously cleaned the apartment and made sure I came home to clean linens, something I so appreciated after a long flight. Overall, Harriet was excellent and I recommend her as a sitter without reservation!
Harriet is a very loving and caring person. She did an excellent job of housesitting our farm and taking care of all of our animals, including two dogs. My dogs LOVED her! She sent daily pictures and updates as well as doing FaceTime. I felt very confident leaving her with our babies immediately after meeting her. I would not hesitate to use her services again!
Harriet Faith is a wonderful human who loves animals. She is smart, cooperative and very reliable. She pet sat for me in June 2020 and I felt extremely comfortable leaving my home and pets with her. She's really got that gentle way with pets; love and patience. I highly recommend her for your pets and your home!
Harriet has been amazing with our two pups Evie and Chubs. Our boy dog is shy and slow to warm up with most people, but he instantly took a liking to Harriet. We used her for an extended stay house sitting job and she took great care of our home and animals. She was great with sending us updates about how they were doing and quickly alerted us when one of the pups had a bug bite that was in need of attention. I would highly recommend Harriet. She is also an artist and does amazing pet portraits. We can't wait to use her again.
Harriet has done house sitting and cat sitting for me more than once. She is very communicative, clean, and wonderful with my kitty. I would trust Harriet with my pets and my home anytime!

Schedule
I will be in the home most of the day, every day and can play with your pups and your kitties as much as they crave! I love caring for animals and spending time with them! And while I am sitting for you, your pets' well-being is my number 1 priority! I am always keeping an eye on things and making sure everyone is healthy, safe and feeling loved. :)
