Harriet B.
London
Finsbury Park based dog sitter
Pet care experience
I have had family dogs all my life, but have been far more hands on with our youngest, Tula, who comes to stay with me in London occasionally. I’m very hands on in training, walking, loving (🩷), but am just not ready to commit to a full time dog myself which is why dog sitting is such a great in between! I have been a member of BorrowMyDoggy for a while now, mostly dog walking and recently caring for a puppy twice a week for full working days.
Reviews
Harriet is amazing, she’s looked after Margo many times before and Margo absolutely loves her. We feel at ease and we know Margo is going to be looked after really well when she’s with Harriet. Highly recommend!
Harriet was wonderful! She was super communicative and sent us lots of photos of Rafael’s adventures during his stay! Despite him being a giant breed, his size didn’t phase her and he came home with a very waggy tail after an amazing day out with Harriet.
Harriet is great with Bandit, he is always so pleased to go, and comes back very happy. We get lots of updates and pictures and are very relaxed knowing Bandit is being looked after
As ever, Fidget had the best day with Harriet - and I'm so grateful for the breakfast additions to make sure he had a good meal!!

I have a first floor balcony, which dogs are safe, secure and watched on. It is decked, but happy for them to use as a bathroom and I will clear up. The dog will be taken on a 30min-1hour walk at least once a day, to keep from getting antsy/bored. I am familiar with crate training, happy for you to provide the crate and fit to your schedule. Would prefer potty trained pets, but can support in training if needed

Information Harriet B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is potty trained or not, and what their typical toilet schedule is so I can accommodate and avoid accidents. I also want to honour your behaviours so let me know if there are certain treats they favour/if you have any foods you do not wish them to have (outside of the usual dog allergens) It’s also useful for me to know their key command words ie. Sit/down, Stay/Wait, Come/Here, Heal/Comeby etc. This helps with consistency in care and comfort for the dog. Otherwise, feel free to be as explicit as you like! The more information to make everyone feel happier the better (:
A typical day
Typically i’ll spend the first 30 minutes playing, with a toy of their choice or a ball, let them out to explore and go to the toilet. Then, as i’m working I will encourage them to entertain themselves with a break for a walk at lunch. In the afternoon, to keep them busy and to build a relationship, we will practise commands with lots of treats and pets.
