Pet care experience
I'm a single guy who loves dogs and I currently have a 9 year old rescue black lab named Mason. I adopted him in June of 2019 and he is such a fun guy who loves everyone and everything. I have had dogs for my entire life and my last two dogs, a Weimaraner and a Yellow Lab Rescue both lived to over 14 years old so I must have been doing something right. Mason and I will play with your pups and take them for walks, swimming, running, fetch. Whatever makes them happy. In the summer, I can take them out paddleboarding. I'm responsible, trustworthy, and honest. I will treat your dogs just as I would treat my own. Occasionally, I can keep your dogs at my house, but mostly, I either stay at your house or stop by depending on what you would like for your pet. I want to make your pet's vacation from you as easy as possible on them. Basically, I'm going to treat them like they are my own.

Wonderful as always
This was my first time using Rover and I was so lucky to book Harold for house sitting with my two dogs for my most recent vacation. He was very easy to work with and paid attention to the details we discussed at our meet and greet before his stay. My dogs were well cared for and I received frequent photos and updates about what they were up to. I arrived home to find my dogs happy, healthy and my home well cared for. I will treat your dogs just like they were one of my own. I want to make sure they are happy and not stressed at all. Separation from an owner can be really traumatic for some pets and I will do my best to make sure they are as comfortable as can be.

I want to know what makes your dog happy. Do they like to eat by themselves or with me there? Do they like to eat and then go out or the other way around? Any favorite toys? Are they afraid of anything or anyone? Anyone they don't like? How are they with other animals? Basically, let me know whatever you want me to do with your dog while I am caring for them.
A typical day
Play outside, run, walk, fetch, swim, etc. We can work on some obedience training as well. Learning to walk well on a leash is a skill I can teach if they need it. I just want them to be happy and have fun.
