I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I took care of many pets growing up, including cats, dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs. I have experience caring for senior dogs who have issues with mobility and need daily medication. I have also cared for a chronically disabled cat who was born with a heart defect, who required intensive daily medication. I worked in wildlife rehabilitation for a year caring for a wide range of animals including cleaning, medication, monitoring, and feeding. I also volunteered throughout high-school at my local animal shelter weekly, walking 3-4 dogs per shift and hanging out with dogs and cats. I am comfortable with various sizes of dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities. I am a calm and patient person and always like to take my time getting to know a pet, and establish their likes and dislikes. Additionally, I am a certified Reiki Master and have provided professional Reiki services to animals for a few years now. I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have about that and how I can incorporate Reiki into a pet drop-in/overnight stay (if that is of interest). I like to get to know you and your pet before caring for them for house-sits to make sure we're a good fit. I always want your pet(s) to feel safe and well cared for. I'm also more than happy to do a meet and greet for walks or drop-in's if that is your preference.
