Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since I could advertise for myself. I had dogs my entire childhood, and have been watching dogs (and cats) in my area since I was 11 years old. I have watched just about every kind, age, and temperament. I am patient and will give your furry friend as little or as much space as they need. Caring for animals is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I would love to get to know yours!

We don’t leave our pup often, but we had to leave town for an overnight stay and Hannah took great care of our girl. She sent lots of pictures and was updating me throughout her stay! We will definitely try to book her again if we need a sitter!!
Hannah is amazing with my dogs, cat, and exotic animals. She's diligent about meeting their needs, goes above and beyond the bare minimum, and genuinely enjoys seeing the animals happy. I definitely plan to choose her for future pet sitting needs for as long as she's available!
Hannah was wonderful with my little menagerie and kept me updated with plenty of pictures. I'll definitely ask for her help again when I need pet care in the future. I particularly appreciated her experience with exotic pets.

I believe in being patient when it comes to the animal(s) being comfortable with me. My top priority when watching them is making sure they feel safe. I have two cats and have had dogs my whole life before my cats. I also have owned a large variety of exotic animals (a guinea pig, gerbils, fish, frogs, and a gecko). I believe in using positive reinforcement and redirecting attention when it comes to disciplining animals. I will use negative reinforcement (raising my voice and lowering my tone and physically removing them from a situation) when the behavior is still being repeated. But I also will do whatever the client wants me to as far as discipline and care.

I am happy to work with pets on all end of the behavioral spectrum, as well as animals with a disability. I will ask that if the animal has any challenges, you let me know ahead of time so I can properly prepare to accommodate to their needs.
A typical day
I believe that my job when watching your pet is to stimulate their brain and body, as well as keeping the anxiety levels down. Anxiety in animals can be extremely impactful, and I know that when an owner leaves them and suddenly is replaced by a stranger I would be anxious too!!! Keeping them comfortable and feeling appreciate is my ultimate goal.

Availability
I am working part time and in August I start school. But my shifts are short and school is short, so I am looking forward to getting some puppy and kitty attention in between my activities. I also am comfortable and able to stay overnight with the animals.
