I joined a different pet-sitting platform in 2016- looking after people's homes and pets all over the UK. I've looked after horses, geese, chickens, ducks, sheep and pigs as well as cats and dogs. I enjoyed this so much that I wanted to move towards a career in pet care. I also spent a month in India volunteering with Animal Aid Unlimited- a rescue centre for injured street animals. I supported disabled dogs with physiotherapy sessions and helped with feeding and administering medical aid. I've grown up around dogs and currently have a 6 year old Lurcher, Jill. She is a rescue dog and needed intense lead training when we got her at 4 years old so am happy to help support lead training if this is an issue. She is also now very happy to roam around our garden with our four ex-battery farm chickens. When she first arrived, she would chase everything that moved- including next door's cats and any wild bird that dared land in her garden. I feel I can build very positive connections with animals and would love the chance to do so with your beloved pet.
