Pet care experience
I’ve volunteered for the Baltimore Humane Society and fell in love with the work I did and plan to volunteer with them again in the future! I’ve had a dog of my own who sadly passed away 5 years ago and have filled my heart by loving other dogs that aren’t mine. I don’t have a job at the moment, so I’m super free and would love to spend the summer with your pet who will be treated appropriately by someone who knows how to handle dogs I am just meeting. I have a calm, patient approach, but will also teach and practice tricks with the dogs to make sure they are well behaved! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! All I can really say is that my love for animals has been with me a lifetime. Update: I have a dog of my own now. His name is Rosco

Hannah is truly an animal whisperer. Any time we walk past a dog she has to pet it! Shes great with my dog Cooper, who she’s taken care of when I leave the country which isn’t every summer. Cooper is a laberdoodle and he seems to be just as in love with Hannah as she is with him. I appreciate all she’s done for my baby and anyone who leaves their pet with her is leaving them in the most compassionate and equips hands.
I was Hannah's leader for the Animal Welfare Program at our school. We went to the Baltimore Humane Society each week to help care for the animals passing through the shelter. Hannah was a very consistent volunteer, and whenever she had a conflict she would give me a lot of notice in advance. She is a very responsible and trustworthy young woman, and was always very patient and kind with the animals.
I volunteered with Hannah at the Baltimore Humane Society during last semester. We took Dog Town training classes together and also had a writing class together. She is very sweet and gentle with people and animals. She was always enthusiastic on our way to the animal shelter and maintained her usual positive attitude!

I don’t have any breed preferences. I would like to know the dogs personality so I don’t mistake an overly jumpy or playful dog as aggressive. I would like to know their temper too.
A typical day
I live in a big neighborhood by a duck pond and trail. I have a fenced back yard and medium sized house. I can play games with the dogs in the back yard or sun bathe if they are tired.
