Hannah's Pet Care
Pet care experience
I have previously worked at a dog boarding kennels for a over a year, so I have plenty of experience understanding dog body language, and how to control a dog in a way that is safe for me, and the animal. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, however, I do reserve the right to keep the dog on the lead during walks, if I don't believe they will come back to me, or if I feel they are not acting appropriate around other dogs. I have had previous experience providing medication for both cats and dogs, mainly providing pills either in their food and via the use of a pill popper, and I have also provided insulin injections and eye/ear drops, and tick/flea treatments. I have also looked after a variety of small furries, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, rats and hamsters, and reptiles, such as bearded dragons, leopard geckos, corn snakes, and royal pythons, so I am happy to look after any of them.
Reviews
Hannah was our emergency back-up dog sitter, but luckily we didn't need her in the end. However, her communication was top-notch and having her as a backup gave us peace of mind. Hannah was fantastic in terms of staying in touch. She responded quickly to our initial inquiry and was always available to discuss the details. Overall, we highly recommend Hannah. Her excellent communication and dedication to providing quality care make her an excellent choice for anyone seeking peace of mind in unforeseen situations. Thank you, Hannah, for your professionalism and support, even though we didn't end up needing your services this time.
Hannah is absolutely lovely and we had complete faith in her house-sitting for us with the dogs. Friendly, professional and clearly experienced and confident with dogs. She dedicated time to meet us both out and at home to familiarise the dogs with her and her to them and their routine. Wouldn't hesitate to book with Hannah again or recommend to friends and family.

Safety, trust & environment
When visiting a pet in your own home, they will always be under supervision when outside, and I will respect any house rules that you have - no pets on the furniture, being kept in a crate/certain room when I am not around, etc. When going on walks, I will not let them off-lead unless I am 100 per cent certain they will come back, and that they are friendly with other dogs, but I do have a long line that I can provide, so they will get plenty of play. If you are happy with me travelling with your pets to walk in different areas, they will be kept secure either through a crate, if you have one, or a doggy seatbelt.
Information Hannah W. would like to know about your pet
The main things I would need to know is the temperament of the breed (how they are with people, other dogs, other animals, what their recall is like) and any health issues they may have (allergies, arthritis, heart problems, lung problems, diabetic)
A typical day
I plan to walk along different parts of the South West Coastal Path, and visit the various woods around the area. I could also potentially take your dogs to Dartmoor National Park, provided they are good with livestock/horses. They will always get a walk if it is raining, unless the dog decides they are refusing to go out, in which case I will spend the walking time playing with them inside, and will offer a discounted price. If I feel that the weather is particularly dangerous, if it is extremely hot for example, then I am happy to do day-visits and play lots of games that keep them stimulated yet cool (water sprinklers/hose, frozen treats, bowls of water, taking them somewhere they can have a swim, food scatter)

Availability
The way it fits in would really depend on the day. From 3rd to 10th April, I would not be at my second job, so I would be able to be at your house for the whole time during house sitting, and I will be available at any time for house-visits and dog walking - I would also be able to provide potty-breaks more frequently. After this, I will be working full-time Tuesday through to Saturday. I would be able to offer walks between 6-8 am, and then 6-9.30 pm, and it would be a similar time for house visits. For house sitting, I would be out between 8.30 and 5, but I could potentially visit for a potty break between 12 and 1, depending on where your house is compared to where I work. Sundays and Mondays are my days off, so I would again be in your house at all times of necessary, and available whenever for day-visits and walking.
