Boarding Assistant & Kitten Foster
Pet care experience
I have fostered 200+ cats & kittens for my local SPCA since 2017. I have worked as a kennel assistant in a veterinary hospital since 2021, caring for the animals boarding overnight, with some cross training as a vet assistant. A little about myself, I have been an animal lover since I was born! I have 5 cats (Danny, Nikolai, Luca, Mama Navi, & Buttons!) and previously had a sweet old miniature dachshund named Ginger, may she rest in peace. I was in college to become a Veterinary Technician for a few years, but I recently switched majors to Biology with a concentration in Zoology. My hobbies include reading books and playing video games with my friends online. I will be moving to the downtown Orlando area in August to attend school, which is exciting!
Reviews
I highly recommend Hannah W. as a pet sitter for anyone seeking safe, loving care and exceptional customer service. Having personally entrusted our pets to her care, I can attest to her responsible and attentive nature. Hannah goes above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of our cats, but she also treats them with the same love and affection as if they were her own. Hannah has tirelessly fostered and cared for many, many strays. She has a true love for all animals. Her reliability, compassion, and dedication make her an outstanding choice for pet sitting services.
Hannah is always able to fit my pets into her schedule, even with short notice. She's super accommodating. My cats love her as if she were their second parent.
Hannah has pet sat for me on many occasions. I have a dog and cat. I trust her, and I know that she genuinely loves animals. I trust her because she grew up in my neighborhood and I have known her and her family for 19 years! They are good and honest people. Hannah is also considering a some form of veterinary school because of her love of animals, and she has experience working at a vet, so that also gives me comfort when I am away from my pets. I give Hannah a 5 star review!

Safety, trust & environment
I can accurately and efficiently follow specific feeding and medication instructions. I have 7 years of experience administering medications (pills, drops, ointments, etc) and 3 years of experience giving insulin injections. I also have experience giving baths, normal and medicated, and can trim nails if the pet is well behaved for it! Some pets need multiple people to restrain them for nail trims, or even sedation, so I wouldn't want to force anything on a pet who isn't comfortable, as that can put them and myself at risk.
Information Hannah W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know the length of time that your dog can go between being let out, so that I can adjust accordingly with work/sleep. Please write out any medication instructions, as I know sometimes you'll have medications that are only "as needed," or "every other day." Please let me know where they are okay with touching/not okay with touching so that I can keep us both safe, as well as if they are friendly with other animals so that I know if I need to muzzle them on walks/be very aware of keeping them from any interactions with other pets on walks.
A typical day
There are pets who are outgoing and require extensive play, and pets who just need some patience and understanding, someone to simply sit in the same room and offer some company. I'm always down to pull out a book or my laptop and just sit with a pet who needs time to adjust to my presence, or a pet who wants to sit curled up with me. I can walk your dog through your neighborhood or local park, and if you have a fenced in yard, play fetch! If you're one of the rare few who have a leash trained cat, I can walk them as well!
Services
Hannah can watch in your home
Availability
I work part-time several days a week, mostly night shifts (4:45 PM to 10 PM) unless I am asked to cover for someone's morning shift (7:30 AM to 1 PM on weekends or 7:30 AM to 5 PM on weekdays). For the rare weekday AM shift, I can take a lunch break from 12 to 1 OR 1 to 2, so if your home is within easy driving distance of my work, I can easily pop by to let them outside real quick if they are unable to hold for the entire shift.
