Pet care experience
I have always had a love for dogs. My family always had dogs in the backyard. In college, I adopted my own little handful and had her for 11 years. I have experience pet sitting small and large dogs as well as cats. When I pet sit for a weekend, those pets are my pets too! I lost my 11 year old dog to diabetes, so I am well equipped to deal with dogs that need a little more attention.

We have trusted Hannah with our two dogs, a yorkie and GSP, frequently. Not only does she make sure their provisions are provided, she ensures they get plenty of exercise, play time, and couch cuddles!

Currently, I only have a beagle at home. She is friendly and sweet, but not all that playful with everyone. She's okay just hanging out or sniffing together in the backyard. She also doesn't mind cats! Depending on the service, I prefer to spend quality time with the pup-even if we can't do a lot of exercising. I do have a dog door at home that can be left open or closed for boarding-depending on the client. If your dog is used to it, he or she can have free range of the backyard like my Beagle does! MY neighborhood is very pet friendly, and my neighbors keep a good eye on my house for me. At clients' homes, I will follow whatever routine they have! Consistency is important when dealing with pets, especially when the owner's absence can cause some axiety.

Please let me know if there are any special needs for your pup! Where does he or she sleep (bed/crate), are there any specific dietary restrictions, is he or she a "runner?" That way I can make sure to prepare for all circumstances before your pup comes to visit!
A typical day
I have a great neighborhood for walks and smells! Low car and foot traffic and great neighbors! I also have a little patch of forest behind my house if it's an outdoorsy dog! Other than that, we're up for tv, sitting on the back porch, and lounging around!

Availability
I live in Lake Charles but work in Sulphur. During the week, I don't have time to make it back to Lake Charles during the day but can attend to dogs here in Sulphur on my lunch break! I can also swing by before and after work if needed. On the weekends, I have plenty of time to sit on the couch and watch Netflix or throw a ball in the backyard. All depends on what the client needs! I just enjoy hanging out and petting dogs!
