Experienced and empathetic dog carer
Pet care experience
I am a low-support needs autistic person with a special interest in dogs. I am highly empathetic and sensitive to their behaviour and needs, having educated myself through the internet, conversations and spending time walking with dog trainers, and generally immersing myself in the world of dogs! I've cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, from small terrier mixes up to boxers and whippets. My specialties are with labrador, spaniel, and staffordshire-terrier mixes - I grew up with these breeds and have 10 years experience independantly walking, dogsitting, and caring for them.
Reviews
Hannah was fantastic, really attentive to our puppy’s needs and was great company, feeding and walking her (and the pictures we received were great!). Poppy was sad to see Hannah leave at the end of the night - we will definitely book with Hannah again!
Han loves animals! She has a very calming and gentle nature and really enjoys spending time with our family dog Tilly, regularly taking her on lovely walks around the meadows and woods that we live. Your pets will be very well cared for and loved.
Hannah is a funny caring individual. She absolutely adores her own hound. Good Luck Hannah. You will be amazing. Hugs and woofs from us. X

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for someone else's pet at their home is a massive responsibility and requires a great deal of trust. I would like to meet with you first, either in a public space or at your home, to establish rapport with you and your dog and to discuss your needs. It is important to maintain command over dogs for everybody's safety - if your dog is reactive or bossy I want to know how you handle that behaviour so I can incorporate that into my responses and maintain consistency in your dog's training. I have experience working opens and closes in hospitality and retail, meaning I have a lived understanding of security and health and safety. I posess a keen eye for detail and am highly organised, so you can trust me to follow your pet and home care instructions to the letter.

Information Hannah U. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your dogs needs, preferences, and unique quirks - they all have them! I'd like to know about any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries they may have, as well as what training they have recieved and commands they know. I also need to know how your dog gets on with other dogs, people, and other animals, if they are particularly reactive to any of the above. It is additionally useful to know what their favourite treats and toys are.
A typical day
I will engage playfully with your dog, meeting them on their level and adapting my play to their preferences, whether that be playing fetch, rough-housing, tug-of-war, or playing with soft toys. On walks, I am happy to go at your dogs pace, taking time to take in smells, sounds, and interact with their environment. And of course, plenty of cuddles and fuss!
