Does your dog have any fears or anxieties that you are aware of? Does your pup tend to bark a lot? If so, in what types of situations? Is your pup aggressive/possessive around their food and/or toys? Is your pup cuddly/affectionate, or do they prefer their own space? Out and About: How does your pup act on a leash? Does your pup require a harness? Does your pup respond appropriately to 'no' or 'stay' or perhaps another command? For Overnights: Is your pup crated at all? If yes, during what parts of the day? Does puppy sleep with you at night? Is your pup potty-trained? What type of bathroom schedule, if any, does your pup typically follow? How does your pup let me know that they need to go potty? What does your dog eat or drink, and when? What is your floofer not allowed to eat? Please provide a list of emergency contacts, including your vet, in the area. Please provide a daily schedule for your pup for the duration of our time together. Please provide necessary security code/lock box information I may need for your sitting. The type of activities your floofer may experience under my care are all based off of what you are both comfortable with, of course! I love taking walks or runs around town and capturing lots of photos of your pet while we adventure (follow me on Instagram @hannahu_rover)! My home is on a partially-wooded, almost-acre with a large, fenced-in backyard. I love spending time outside working in the yard or tossing a ball or frisbee. I also enjoy running and am happy to accommodate pups depending on the athleticism of the dog. There's nothing better than a happy dog to share a lovely day with! On sunny days (and with your consent), your pup and I might even drive the very short distance to the Eno River trails. These make for a beautiful walk or run in good weather. I always pack reflectors, a flashlight, pepper spray, water, food, plenty of treats, a safety kit, and other essentials to ensure that your pup and I are both good to go. For trail walks, we've got to be sure that we'll have plenty of daylight, so mornings are my favorite adventure pup time! Making sure your doggo is up to date on their flea and tick treatments is a great way to make sure your furry friend has the best time in my yard and on these types of trips! I am always down for an adventure, and more than happy to accommodate all energy and athleticism levels.
