I have had numerous years of experience with several different pets and breeds. I got my first dog, a basenji named Kito, at the age of six and have housed and provided for four other dogs since then, including three other basenjis and a greyhound. Kito is now 15 years old and still living his best dog days. I also am employed by Going Away PetSitting of York, PA and provide several jobs and services for pets of friends and family. During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to be an intern at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center, located in Philadelphia, PA, as well. I believe that the key to being the best pet handler is to act as if the animal is your own. Therefore, I make sure to love and nourish them as my own and take all the precautions that I would with my own animal. It is important for me that your pet is content and happy in their environment. With this being said, I prefer to do in-home visits and overnight stays, in order to keep the animal in their own comfortable environment.
