As I deal with quite an array of dogs at work, I don't have many preferences. I would prefer your dog to be crate trained if not trustworthy enough to be left out while alone at home, so that I do not feel like any mishap or damage is caused by me.

I'm a dog person. I want dogs around me at all times. I take my dog to the nearest dog parks and even far ones depending on how the day is. I like for my dog to get out and run a lot, and hopefully your dog will want to keep up! I don't require dogs to sleep in the crate at night, but I do require boarding dogs to sleep in a crate or on the floor as there are no dogs allowed in our bed (we already take up enough room as it is!!!). They can feel free to hangout on the bed as long as we aren't sleeping in it! I usually try to plan my outings where I can take the pups with me. My husband and I enjoy eating at restaurants where we can sit outside and bring the dogs along, so quality time will be at the maximum.
