I’ve never had any problems following the instructions set by any family/owner. Ideally you can have all of the instructions written out on paper, but if not I can take notes while at our meet & greet! Typical things I like to know about are any special health information about the animals and their reactivity to other dogs (which I’m equipped to handle since my own German Shepherd is a bit reactive too).

A typical day of pet sitting will consist of an early morning wake up (I’m a morning person), then some breakfast and exercise. For families who don’t want me taking their dogs out for hikes or runs, we’ll do a walk around the neighborhood plus additional training for basic commands. I find that the mental stimulation tires them out more than the physical exercise! On the weekends, I’ll hang at home with your fur babies, and on the weekdays I’ll be in the office. I can come back to your home at lunchtime to walk or let them out to potty if need be. In the evening, we’ll do another walk and training, then dinner and relax till bed!
