I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old for 3+ pets at a time - cats, dogs, and any other pets you have! I truly love working with and caring for pets. It brings me so much joy to spend time with them. I am a huge animal lover and can frequently be found watching the dogs at the Church Square dog park for a bit of extra serotonin. I'd love to help care for those animals in your life that are so important to you!

I highly recommend Hannah S. as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She is exceptional in her role as a dog walker, providing excellent care and attention to the dogs she looks after.
I've been using Hannah as a dog walker for the last year, and I cannot recommend her enough! Hannah is very trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely loves animals. My dog warmed up to Hannah almost instantly. He is always soooo happy to see her, and returns from his walks relaxed and content. I also appreciate that Hannah shares fun photos and updates from their walks. Hannah also understands proper leash handling, dog body language, how to approach other dogs, and when it's safe to let Jak say hi to a dog vs when it's best to keep a distance. All this is to say, I know when Jak is with Hannah he is in safe hands! Hannah is very reliable, punctual and transparent about scheduling. She communicates well and in advance if there are any changes (although changes are rare), making it easy for me to plan my day. Again, I can't recommend her enough!

I live in an apartment building with an elevator and no yard; however, I live only a few blocks away from the dog park! All of the pets I watch get great care in my home and outside on our walks. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and to the park to play. I have no concerns that I can properly care for your pet in my home. I do have a cat in my apartment, so the pet should be comfortable with another animal around. I can keep her in my bedroom if needed and have done so for less pet-friendly animals.

I like to know about any special care needs for your pet in addition to any of their quirks, preferences, or personality traits that make watching them special! I don't just care about the medications, irritations, or areas to watch, I also care about the things they love to do and how they like to be loved!
A typical day
My favorite part of sitting is making it an exciting, engaged, adventure for the pet! I like to view pet sitting as a vacation for the dog. We will go on walks, explore parks, and play! I even have toys in my own home special for any pets that visit. My favorite park of sitting for dogs includes taking them to Hoboken's many dog parks!

Availability
I work full time in a hybrid position. I mostly WFH on Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday-Thursday. I am open to sitting, drop ins, and walking all days of the week. My schedule will remain updated for ease of scheduling, and I'm always open to connecting to chat further about your schedule preferences and needs.
