I am a 20 year old student studying Zoology at Liverpool John Moores University. I love animals and my future career plans are to become an animal conservationist, working with organisations around the world. Over the past two years as a dog sitter on Rover, I have had plenty of experience and can be very flexible to your pet’s needs. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, from rescue backgrounds or not. I understand that they’re all different and come with their own little quirks and rules to stick to. I currently live with my boyfriend in a house with a good-sized garden. We are in the countryside so have access to some great walks! I also have a car, so adventures away from home are always on the cards too. I have two resident dogs, Mollie and a Monty. Mollie is my boyfriend's 12 year old Border Collie who is good with other dogs, in particular with puppies. Monty is my 3 year old corgi x shepard dog, who again is good with other dogs and loves to follow them around! I also spend time with my mum who loves dogs and also seems to be loved by dogs, she's always the preferred one of the two of us... If your dog is not a fan of other dogs, I am able to take care of them alone at my mum's house in Witney. We don’t have a large garden (the dogs can do their business here), however we live directly next to a small field for dog walking and less than a 5 minute walk from a large playing field. I have taken many dogs for walks there and it’s a great and safe environment for the dogs to stretch their legs. As for cats, again I have plenty of experience with them as I used to help out at a cattery and often take care of a neighbour’s 4 cats when they are away. Due to the road outside the house however, I feel it would be best if I were to stay at your home for the safety of your cat(s). If you would prefer, I am more than happy to house-sit if you feel like this would be better for your animals! That being said as well, if you have any other pets, I would be more than happy to take care of them too, just let me know so we can discuss prices. I've looked after chickens, geese, parrots, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, tortoises and lizards before; it would be great to add more to my resume!
