Pet care experience
When I think of home, I think of dogs; From the ones I was raised with to the ones I’ve been trusted to care for. I grew up helping take care of our family dogs, but then I got married and got a Bernedoodle with my husband, learning how to train her as a puppy and foster a deep relationship with her and teach her to be a citizen in our community, my heart grew even more. Now I get to watch our son play with our dog and see the lasting impression their relationship will have on his life. All of this has taught me how truly lucky we are to experience life with dogs.

I have a long fenced in yard, perfect for running, and a 2 year old Bernedoodle with a love for playtime to help keep your fur baby company. I have extra water and food bowls, an extra large dog crate that can be in its own private room if needed, a huge bean bag that is a prized possession of every dog we’ve ever kept for family and friends, and lots of love.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has special needs such as medication that needs to be administered, if they need time of separation/crate time during the day, and if they are not ok sharing a water bowl, as we typically have one shared water bowl for any dogs in the house.
A typical day
We will play in the yard daily with my dog Galia and have treat toys for extra stimulation. We can go on walks at night time when my husband is home but not during the day as I will have to push a stroller. But there is lots of room in our yard for running!

Availability
I’m currently a stay at home mom with my toddler, so time and energy (mostly his) abounds over here. My husband is home weeknights and on the weekends and LOVES dogs, so together we make a great team for dog-watching. Some weeknights and weekdays work for us, but weekends are where we have the most availability.
