Hannah doesn't just love animals, she is passionate about them. Many times when her friends found stray or injured animals she was the first call they made. In a matter of minutes they delivered the animal to her, the person they knew would do whatever it took to care for and find them a home. Often while caring for my two maltipoos she's noticed even the slightest variation in their normal pattern of behavior and was quick to do what she could to make them comfortable and nurse them back to health. She is curious and always seeking knowledge about different breeds and what makes "them tick." During high school when looking for a part time job, she sought after and only applied at Veterinary and Animal Boarding businesses. Her enthusiasm for animals is evident and after her first short interview she was hired and worked at a local Boarding facility directly caring for the animals in the yard. She did everything, bathed, fed, walked, played and sometimes even crawled up in the kennels and snuggled with them. Most importantly she loved them. Small or large, ten, twenty or fifty at a time that didn't matter to her. There has never been a doubt in her mind, or anyone who knows her, what she would someday want to become. Her tenacious spirit coupled with hard work landed her with honors at LSU on their fast track scheduled to finish early, hopefully making her dream of becoming a Veterinarian reality. When away from family, your pets included, you want them to be loved and cared for like they would be if you were home. That's what Hannah DOES and I highly recommend her.
