I work from home most weekdays and have two very social frenchies who would love to share the company of another dog to play with. Since joining Rover a couple years ago we have hosted other small dogs, teething puppies, wrinkled bulldogs on special diets, big playful labs, senior huskies & sweet-tempered pitties. We only sit 1 pup at a time (unless they are are coming from the same household) to ensure the best experience for all (and plenty of attention), and would love to meet you and your pup to welcome them to join the fun over here while you are away! My goal as a sitter is to ensure that you have the comfort and peace of mind that your pup has the best care while you are away, so that you can ACTUALLY relax and focus at work, or enjoy that weekend getaway without having pet-abandonment-guilt (as a dog mom myself, I know that is a REAL thing!) I have been blessed to have some amazing sitters for JJ and Charlie in my own time on Rover, and I have chosen to take their best practices and apply those to my own sitting-style. You can expect lots of photos and proactive updates from me. My boys are super social, and we get to the dog park regularly (about 2-3x a week) to ensure they are well socialized to all kinds of other dogs. Because of that commitment, they are great at sharing toys, love a good wrestle, and are the coziest-cuddlers when it's time for a break. Our home is a very unique second-floor apartment with a full patio & garden space, so the pups are welcome to play and nap indoors or outdoors in our (fenced-in) place. Our home is usually big enough to enable good play-exercise for small guests, but for larger dogs I like to take pups out on walks together to get the wiggles out. (My motto: a good dog, is a tired dog). We live about 0.25mi away from Greenlake so a lap around the lake is always a good option on a nice day. The boys and I especially like to watch movies, cuddle on the couch, play tug of war, nap/read in the sun on the patio and sleep-in on Saturdays and Sundays (cozy dogpile!) I've always loved dogs, and worked with many different breeds and backgrounds when I volunteered at the San Francisco shelter. I grew up with active labradors my whole life- I knew my world wasn't complete without dogs, so I joined Rover, and got my lovely little Frenchies a few years ago and we have been inseparable ever since!
