Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and got to take care of my first pup Mattie in the last 4 years of her long 16-year life, while she battled cancer, so taking care of senior or sick dogs definitely has a place in my heart. I currently have a dog, who loves making new friends. I am a very active person so if your dog's needs include longs walks, runs, etc I am more than happy to wear your pup out! I have also volunteered at the Jacksonville humane society for 4 years so I completely understand every dog is different and needs special love and care.

Hannah has a gift with dogs. Our chihuahua, Sandy, is very sweet and gentle, but it takes her a bit to warm up to new people. By the 2nd day, Sandy was sitting on Hannah's lap and giving her kisses. We were pleasantly surprised. Hannah communicated with us frequently and made the process as simple as can be. We will definitely request her again, when the need arises.
Hannah was amazing with Knox. She came and met her prior to the stay and always kept me updated. We were traveling and she dropped knox off to make it easier for us. We can’t wait to go back!

Safety for me is very important to maintain while taking care of pets since I have seen from my volunteer experience how tragic it can be when a dog gets loose. I never use my phone while on walks with my own dog because I believe it is a very important time to train them and make sure they are safe.

I have experience that varies from taking care of 3 Weimaraners, to golden retrievers to maltipoos. Each breed of dog requires different care, but I l absolutely adore each breed.
A typical day
I believe dogs need several outlets for their energy. The first being a physical activity, so I love to get out and run or walk with dogs! Another being playtime, having a good tug of war game, or playing fetch. Lastly being mental energy, either playing dog puzzle games to find the treat or even doing some simple training helps keep dogs' minds healthy and happy!

Availability
I am currently a nursing student with virtual classes so I am free every day except Wednesday 6-3 when I have clinical in the hospital. My normal routine with my pup starts at 6 am with our first walk, and usually ends at 10 pm with our last walk. I love to get out of the house as much as I can throughout the day so walking pups would fit in perfectly with my days!
