I have been pet sitting for friends since I was 16 years old, but I have had pet cats since I was born. I began caring for my family's array of pets when I was 9 years old. I have raised and care for rabbits, dwarf hamsters, fish, dogs, and many cats (I always wanted a pet snake but was not allowed to have one.). Usually I stay overnight at the persons house, making sure to leave the house as cleaner than it was when I arrived. I have given a cat its thyroid medication, dogsat massive energetic dogs, medium sized dogs who do not like most people and always made sure to have plenty of time to play. I currently work a part time job in the city of Reading so I am pretty flexible with my schedule and try to make sure your pet is not left alone for long periods of time. I personally have 7 cats and I previously had a wonderful Jack Russel/Pug who died at age 18. I have experience petsitting from day visits to check on cats to 5 weeks of dogsitting.
