Hello, my name is Hannah and I am going into my fourth year at the University of Delaware as a Pre-vet major. I am located in Hockessin, DE, and also have an apartment in Newark, DE. With my college classes being moved online due to covid, I have lots of room in my schedule to dog sit/take care of your animals! A little about my pets: I’ve owned several types of pets including dogs, bunnies, small rodents, as well as many reptiles, and even a small parrot. I currently have three dogs that I am obsessed with as I’m sure all of you are with your furbabies. They are family members after all! I trained all of my dogs as puppies, house broke them, and taught them fun tricks like sit, paw, spin, pretty sit, etc. If you have a little pup, I’d be more than willing to supplement their training while you are away! I also have a bunny that my family rescued when we found her in our yard one day, and she quickly won our hearts. If you have any caged animals that need care while you are away, I have had my fair share of experience with them as well and would love to care for them! I have many years of experience when it comes to pet sitting, and I have watched all types of pets - big and small. I have taken care of elderly dogs and dogs with medical issues that require more attention and medications throughout the day. I volunteered for the Delaware Humane Association and shadowed veterinarian Dr. Mitchell at Hockessin Animal Hospital throughout this past year. I also worked at the Pet Valu in Hockessin, DE (Lantana Square location), where I became skilled at helping customers find products for all of their pets’ needs. I love going on volunteer trips. I have visited Costa Rica, where I assisted veterinarians in spay/neuter clinics in lower income areas. I also ventured to South Africa, where I volunteered at a cheetah conservation and shadowed an exotic veterinarian. Caring for animals is definitely my passion. I can assure you that I will treat your animals as if they are my own. I will spoil them with lots of attention, walks, car rides, and snuggles to make sure they feel loved, safe, and entertained while their family is away. ** I have been following Covid-19 restrictions by wearing a mask and avoiding high contact/exposure places. **
