Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Hannah! I am a Zoology major at Colorado State University, with a goal of working with Canids in the future. I have multiple years of professional animal care under my belt, and my dream would be to work with the Yellowstone Wolf Project. I have professional experience with animal handling and extra services. Dog nutrition, training, coat care, nail trimming, sanitary care, grooming, and animal behavior are all aspects that I have been trained in, both in the professional world and for my own interest. Nail trimming, bathing, paw trimming/cleaning, sanitary/ears/teeth cleaning, etc. are all services that I am willing to provide! Do you have a terrarium or tank animal in need of care while you are away? Never fear, I am an experienced aquarium keeper! This means that I understand the intricacies that come with creating an isolated habitat. Your small pets will be safe with me! I have never lived without an animal in my imediate household. After my parent’s long-time dog passed away, we adopted my border collie. She has been a constant in my life for over 15 years, and my chihuahua for nine. Living on my own, I have yet to own a dog (although I can’t count on my own willpower for much longer). At the moment, I have a 20gallon fish tank for my Betta, Jasper. I am committed to treating every animal under my care as if they were my own. As much as my own pets are pampered, yours will be too! Interested? Please contact me, and we will continue from there! I am on a student schedule, with time in between classes, free afternoons, and completely free weekends.
Reviews
Hannah was great and took wonderful care of our pups and home! :) She was also always really responsive to text messages. The thing I loved most was getting a pic of our fur babies while we were gone, so that was nice knowing that they were in good hands. We look forward to using her again!

Safety, trust & environment
My main focus will always be the comfort and safety of your animal! I have experience caring for special needs dogs as well as administering oral medication. With my chihuahua, I have experience with seizures, movement and cleanup with paralyzed lower body, physical therapy, and house cleanup due to the poor pup who maybe cannot be as good as they want to due to illness. My 100+lbs Murphy (now passed) lost movement past his lower torso in his last few months. I have experience with aiding his movement outside and down stairs as well as cleaning of his lower body. My border collie was adopted under the pretext of her being a completely different breed. Because of us not being in the right environment for a working breed, my Maddy has grown up anxious and at-times aggressive in high-stress situations. I have a keen sense of animal behaviors and social cues, as well as experience with animal handling of both little and small dogs. While multiple things can happen without ability to prepare, I am confident that I can handle any situation that is thrown at me.
Information Hannah M. would like to know about your pet
Likes and dislikes are very important to me! I would love to know the personality of your pet, what they enjoy doing, and how I can bond with them! It’s important to know any health or safety concerns.
A typical day
I love walking around neighborhoods and discovering trails with a dog by my side. Whether lounging on the couch, or playing tug-of-war, i’ll make sure your precious pet does not feel lonely.
