Pet care experience
I have fostered dogs and cats since I was 8 years old with my mother. My favorite was fostering pregnant dogs and ones with behavioral issues! At one point we had 7 dogs and 3 cats. My mom is a dog groomer and has taught me a lot about animal behaviors. I can groom somewhat, including nail trims. I worked as her assistant on and off for 10 years. I began potty training puppies for friends and family at 16. I have also dog and cat sat for the last 5 years on my own.

I have 2 cats of my own. They are friendly with dogs! If I am in a clients home I like to do a walk through to insure safety measures. Also have a thorough contact list, including the vets name incase something happens. I also have dog treats and a leash in my car. I tend to catch dogs that have escaped their yards and bring them home safely. Dogs and cats are such amazing creatures. I feel honored when someone trusts me with their fur baby!

A typical day
I love to keep dogs active. Cherokee park, Beckley creek and The Water Front are some of my favorite parks to take dogs. Picking out toys, getting ice cream ( owner approved) is a special thing I also like to do. Each park has places the dogs can play in water ( if allowed.)

Currently I have a very flexible schedule! I am a full time college student. Luckily, I take courses online so I am able to be home or travel with my laptop.
