I’ve had a dog for 12 years now and have always adored animals. Anytime I’m invited to someone’s house, I’m the friend that spends most of the night winning over the love of the dog or cat, instead of spending it with my friends! 😂 When it comes to taking care of your animal, I won’t hesitate to show the pet the same love and affection. I am always excited when I get booked to take care of pets and love to send lots of fun pictures of the time we get to spend together! I’m always open to communication and won’t hesitate to ask questions about your animal. Plus, I love to bring some extra treats to spoil your pet! Here is a few things I would love to know about your pet: 1) Is it trained and if so, what are the “sit” “go potty” and/or “stay” commands? 2) Do they have any aggressive tendencies? 3) Does your dog have any allergies? 4) What’s your favorite way to show your dog love? (i.e. belly rubs, ear scratches, love pats, etc.) 5) Is there any special things your dog might need during my visit? I look forward to the visit and can’t wait to meet your fur baby!! Thanks again!

We are so lucky to have found Hannah! She is kind and patient with our senior dog. Hannah is a great communicator and keeps us up to date on any issues if they arise.
Hannah does a great job! She always shows up when she’s supposed to, does the check in on time, and our pets love her. We’ll keep inviting Hannah to care for our pups and kitties.

I always start with allowing the dog or cat to meet me and choose to approach me. I normally have treats to help earn their trust and build excitement for my visit. If it’s a in-home visit, I will make sure the animal has everything they need, plus an extra belly rub and some fun “run around the yard” time to help them get all their energy out! If it’s a walk, I’ll make sure I bring extra treats to help encourage the animal to walk with me, but also tailor the walk to the dog - if they have lots of energy, we might run down the block; if they have no energy, I might sprinkle some treats on the path to encourage them to walk; etc. Also, for walks, once I feel comfortable with the dog, I have the option of taking the dog to park trails to give the dog some new smells and scenery.

I always love to know their favorite way to be loved, their training commands, if they have allergies, if they can be agressive towards people, children or other animals, and I would like to know if they have any health conditions.
A typical day
I love to play “Find the treat” with my dog. It’s a game where I show my dog 3 treats. One of them I give to her right away and the other two I hide throughout the room to help her engage her hunting instincts. The other thing I do with my dog is take her to the river! It’s her favorite. Although she loves to eat every leaf she can, she also enjoys meeting other dogs and finding new paths to take.

I’m currently working part time to start an art business, so this is a fantastic flexible addition to my wonky schedule! This means I am also flexible with walks or in home visit schedules and am open to changing times if need be.
